I understand the challenges women face at work firsthand and use my energy, experience and networks to help you take ownership of your so-called career.
Why do we need My So-Called Career?
There are too many obstacles holding women back at work.
Women experience higher levels of work related stress and anxiety than men at every stage of their careers.
They are held to different standards; valued on looks, age and experience, while men are far more likely to be judged on ambition and potential.
Women experience unequal pay, fewer promotions, less exposure to leadership and are criticised for displaying behaviours which get men rewarded and promoted.
It’s hardly surprising this results in crippling levels of self doubt and self criticism.
My So-Called Career exists because this isn’t good enough.
We can, and should, do better!
